The 12th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment served as members of Baxter’s Brigade in Robinson’s Division of the First Corps, Army of the Potomac. The regiment is honored by a monument and two position markers.

Location: North Hancock Avenue, Ziegler’s Grove.
Description: Denotes the location of the regiment on July 2, 1863. The position markers are two foot high and eight inches wide.
